Three handmade ghost coasters sewn from white fabric with black eyes , easy Halloween sewing project

Halloween Sewing - Free Ghost Coaster Pattern

Halloween is creeping up on us (yes, even here in Portugal where it wasn’t a big deal when I was younger!). 👻

I never really paid much attention to it but, then kids came into the picture, and suddenly I found myself surrounded by themed prints, spooky fabric, and the urge to sew something fun. So I made ghost coasters a while ago. In the thrill of having this new website this year (YAY) I am giving the pattern away for free because:

a) it’s quick, b) it’s cute, and c) why not?

Why Ghost Coasters Are the Perfect DIY Halloween Project?

  • Quick & satisfying: These coasters take just one evening to sew, ideal for when time is tight.
  • Beginner-friendly
  • Practical décor: Instead of “just another ornament”, you actually get a coaster you can use, protecting surfaces and adding a playful touch.

What You’ll Need

  1. Fabric - white is you really want your ghosts to be like... well "ghosts" 😀
  2. Small piece of black felt and textile glue or if you don't have this just a fabric marker to draw the faces!
  3. And the usual: thread, scissors, basic sewing machine setup
